Residential house of the middle XIX century

It is an example of the house of the XIX century. Initially, in this building lived the Governor of Vladimir Peter Gavrilovich Lazarev, while in the neighborhood the main house for the Governor was building. In the XIX century the building belonged to a merchant family Slavnov.

The first floor was used traditionally for the commercial shops and stores – household chemicals (here the various chemical substances were selling – glue, paints, oils) store and pharmaceutical store. The upper floors were residential. In the XX century on the second floor were opened the cash desks of the "Russian music society".

Accepted by the state protection of monuments of history and culture. It is a monument of town planning and architecture of regional significance.

Today: on the ground floor – a gift shop, Museum "Babusya- Yagusya", the upper floor is partly residential, partly on reconstruction.
