Vladimir Planetarium

Under the arches of the Vladimir planetarium, located in the former Nikolo-Kremlevskaya Church, a permanent exhibition was opened, which gathered quite a rare items: the Foucault pendulum, a large globe of the moon, models of the first artificial satellites.

Here is the only diorama in the country, showing the takeoff of a spaceship "Energia-Buran".

From the 8-th of June to the 2-nd of August in honor of the 60th anniversary of the cosmodrome "Baikonur" in the Vladimir planetarium is open an educational exhibition "My Youth- Baikonur". It includes photographs, dedicated to the history of the famous cosmodrome and Vladimir veterans of the cosmodrome.
