Museum “Crystal. Embroidery. Lacquer miniature"

In Vladimir city there is a unique Museum of the Crystal, placed in the building of the Trinity church, not far from The Golden Gate. In its exposition represented about 1000 samples of the crystal glass and about 100 of the finest works from the porcelain. All of them were made perfectly by the best craftsmen, you cannot avert your eyes from some of them.

As you enter the church you get into the Kingdom of glass. On the central display window were placed the original works of the best modern masters of the crystal production. They are constructed in the form of a beautiful tiered pyramid and amaze all tourists with its variety of plastics and shapes and colors. The exposition is conditionally divided into pre-revolutionary and modern collection of glass art that allows to recreate an accurate chronological picture of the development of glass production in local places.

In this museum the products created by modern craftsman artfully resonate with quite old works, contrasting with their colors, shapes and processing methods.Every craftsman, who works with a simple glass or colored crystal, with the help of a special diamond cutting, creates his own individual masterpiece.

Stepping inside the soaring arches of the hall, you immediately find yourself in the arms of the banks of this crystal "river." Not by chance even the color space: blue-gray and blue tones immerse us into the depths of not only time, but also into the mysteries of the amazing material a man had to work with. Its sparkling shine and matte inner radiance, the game of all rainbow colors and an infinite variety of forms force us to become more elevated, nobler and brighter.

There are also represented the crafts of such a unique center of applied and decorative arts as Mstyora. In a separate room, displaying the art of embroidery and lacquer miniatures, happened a logical grouping - in the door to each other they sounded brighter. And the chamber dimensions of this section of the exhibition was decorated as if you were inside the casket, focused our attention on embroidery and lacquer miniatures. They appear before the audience the real pearls in the display windows and their design supports the theme of "the jewelry box". And here was noted the new feature exhibition: in addition to epic, fairy-tale, historical, and other subjects of lacquer miniature, the visitor can see the Holy images, painted in the late XIX – early XX century, and modern icons of Mstyora artists.

By the way, the buyer "moneybag" could could treat himself by ordering something more exclusive. For example, a tea set with monogram.

The traditions of Nechaev-Maltsov continued the modern masters of glassmaking of Gus-Khrustalny. In 2001 in Moscow was reopened the company store of the Gus glass factory.
