Viewing point on the Pushkin boulevard

As a result of the improvement of the rampart, which was demolished at the beginning of the XIX century, a boulevard appeared, from which picturesque views of the slopes of the Patriarch's Garden and the Vladimir surroundings opened. In 1899, the boulevard acquired a name – – Pushkin, on the occasion of the poet's centenary. And after the revolution of 1917, the park, which retained the name of Pushkin, became more familiar to the ears of Vladimirites.

In 2007, an impressive monument –, by Vladimir standards, appeared on the boulevard-a monument to the founder of the city, Prince Vladimir Krasnoe Solnyshko and St. Fyodor. In the 2000s, the observation deck and the entire boulevard as a whole were literally transformed – – the site was covered with a tile pattern, lovers of landscape views were protected by a beautiful wrought-iron fence, the lighting system was completely replaced on the boulevard.

This site retains its appeal at any time of the year: snow-covered in winter, hidden by the spring flood of the Klyazma, covered with greenery in summer, bright in autumn-the Zaklyazma distances always –fascinate… Even despite the biting wind that sometimes blows on the open hill.
